Comfortable and stylish cruising

En-suite cabins

Saloon, looking forward Moonshadow’s layout provides an unrivalled degree of space, light and comfort to allow you to relax during your sailing holiday.

The four twin guest cabins each have full sized bunks, with soft pillows, duvets to keep you snug and warm and private en-suite facilities, including hot showers. There is ample shelving and locker space for personal gear; deck hatches and port lights make the cabins bright and well-ventilated.

The saloon is spacious and airy with a large dining table and a smaller table with additional seating. Facilities include:

  • well-stocked library
  • radio/CD/MP3 player
  • board games
  • flat screen TV, often used to view the day’s photos

Guest cabinIf you want to try your hand at some navigation, we have various electronic devices at the chart table:

  • chartplotter
  • radar
  • AIS
  • VHF DSC radio
  • navtex (for weather bulletins)
  • charts, pilots and cruising manuals

The galley is equipped with gas and electric cooking, a large fridge and freezer and a dishwasher. From here there is access to the engine room, which houses our auxiliary diesel engine.

There are 13amp/240v sockets in all cabins and throughout the yacht, so you can charge electrical equipment, such as phones, cameras and laptops or plug in a hairdryer.

During a sailing holiday in Scotland you are likely to experience the charms of the changeable Scottish weather, however Moonshadow has air conditioning and warm air heating throughout, so you’ll be comfortable whatever the conditions outside.

It’s just amazing how long happy memories stay with you and allow you to talk about them fondly and SO often.
