Moonshadow of Lorne is an Oyster 68. Designed by Holman and Pye and built in 1989 by Oyster Marine, she is a world-class cruising yacht, recognised throughout the sailing world for quality, comfort and performance. With core values of strength, seaworthiness and a multitude of practical, seamanlike features, she provides a secure environment for adventurous cruising or a relaxing sailing holiday. She is coded to MCA Category 2, allowing her to sail up to 60 miles from a safe haven.
During her lifetime Moonshadow has cruised both the Caribbean and Mediterranean and has proved her pedigree with several Atlantic crossings. She has recently undergone an extensive programme of refits and is now in prime condition and fully equipped for charter work in Scotland.
