How to Get Here
By rail or bus from Glasgow to Oban
All trains from elsewhere in the UK arrive at either Glasgow Central Station or Queen Street Station. From Glasgow Central, a 10 min walk (ca 10 minutes) or the free shuttle bus will take you to Queen Street Station or Buchanan Bus Station.
Buses and trains usually depart Glasgow shortly after 0800, 1200 and 1800 hours on summer weekdays. The journey by bus or rail is very scenic and takes approximately 3 hours.
For buses from Buchanan Bus Station click here.
If you travel directly to Dunstaffnage, get off the bus at Dunbeg (ask the driver to stop as he may not do so otherwise) and take the 10 minute walk to the marina.
If you travel by train, get off either at Connel Ferry or Oban, and continue to the marina by local bus or taxi. Connel is slightly closer, but as the station is much smaller it is less well served by bus and taxis.

We still have a wonderful memory of our sailing holiday on beautiful and comfortable ‘Moonshadow of Lorne’. We will definitely come back and book a new trip with you. In fact, we have in mind a special plan to celebrate our birthdays next year.
