Gateway to the Isles
Our home base is Dunstaffnage Marina, which is situated 3 miles north of Oban, the main town in North Argyll. Known as the Gateway to the Isles, because of it’s location and proximity to the Hebrides, Oban is easily accessible by road, rail, ferry and air.
If you arrive by car, there is ample parking on-site at the marina. From the railway station, ferry terminal or airport it is only a short taxi journey.
Dunstaffnage Bay is overlooked by the historic Dunstaffnage Castle and the contemporary campus of the Scottish Association for Marine Science. It provides a stunning backdrop for the start of your sailing holiday in Scotland.
The marina is also home to the Wide Mouthed Frog. With panoramic views over the bay it offers a restaurant, bar and accommodation.
