Colin & Pauline have been racing and cruising sailing yachts in Scotland for over 30 years. During this time they have built up an extensive local knowledge of the West Coast of Scotland and the Hebridean islands and developed an enduring passion for this beautiful and remarkable coastline.

As a Yachtmaster Instructor, Colin worked for various sailing schools in Scotland, before setting up his own RYA sea school. As Principal he shared his love of the sea and his nautical expertise with many aspiring yachtsmen and women, successfully coaching them through the intricacies of the RYA syllabus. With a background in the food industry, Pauline ran the shore based side of the business, including onboard provisioning and catering for the school’s RYA courses.

Colin also has a wealth of experience as a yacht charter skipper. Having worked with both private and corporate clients he has managed a wide range of different sailing activities in Scotland including team building events, outward bound projects, sail training programmes and skippered sailing holidays.
